And: be part of the next edition of "Tauchzeichen"!
How could YOU help to develop the divers language?
Just mail your suggestion (or even 2,3 or more) with a short discription of the movement and a meaningful title to takepart@ok2dive.de. Take a few pictures of you or your buddies practicing the new hand sign and attach it to the mail.
What size should the pictures have? Anything else to regard?
Please send max. 1 MB large pictures. ok2dive is going to rework the pictures if necessary. If you send pictures you represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights of the pictures. People which are displayed on the pictures has given their ok for the release.
You have mailed your suggestion. What happens now?
After verification of your suggestion, ok2dive is going to post your hand sign as an own story in the blog. A rating tool is included in your thread! New threads of hand signs are posted on the first of the following month!
We are going to send you a mail to let you know, that your hand sign is "on air". Don't hesitate to update your friends!
If two similar hand signs are send to us simultaneous, the determining factor is the date of arrival of your e-mail at ok2dive.
Voting
Hand signs in the blog are due for approval for one month. Every user, logged in, has the possibility to vote one time for a hand sign. The more stars a user set on a hand sign the more valuable the vote becomes. And: the higher your changes to find your hand sign in the next edition of "Tauchzeichen". You find the stars right under the title and with mouse-over they could be set.

My hand sign has an outstanding evaluation... what happens now?
The sign with the best average rating of the current month is nominated as "Dive sign of the month". It is given a place of honour in the category "Dive sign of the month" and they are going to be released in the next edition of the booklet "Tauchzeichen".
If we do have two signs with the same average rating, the editorial office of ok2dive is going to decide who is going to be nominated.
For the printing of the new edition of the "Tauchzeichen" ok2dive is going to re-enact the hand sign. The sender of the sign is going to be named (if favored).
Please note: even if you are a scuba diving center, a scuba diving school or a scuba diving club you could send in your suggestions!
So, what are you waiting for?
Just order your own booklet, have lots of fun viewing, learning and using the hand signals for diving and: look which hand sign you are missing and send your suggestion to takepart@ok2dive.de!
